Birkenstocks?
Howdy all,
So lately I've been looking for some shoes/ sandals to wear while relaxing or casual.
Alot of people have been telling me to get a pair of Birkenstocks. I haven't owned a pair but I was hoping someone out there does and can share their opinion on them good or bad.
I always see a bunch of people in them so I figure they must be kinda good, either way thanks for the read and looking forward to hear what you have to say.Shaving_story on Instagram

Thanked: 74I must rest my heels on stuff more than other people do, because the cork at just under my heels took a beating with my pair. I had to seal them very often and decided to not get another pair when I wore mine out. Otherwise I remember them to be quite comfortable.

I haven't been with out a pair or two in so many years I cannot remember when I didn't have them. Birkenstock sandals that is. Old hippie days carryover. Believe it or not I wore them to the shop today and they are still on my feet as I type this. Thanks for reminding me, time to take them off for the night.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I wore through Birkenstocks fairly quick, but I know of people who've owned some for years. I do remember them as comfortable. I also like crocs for a relaxing shoe, but my favoritist (shut up that is too a word) comfy shoes are my fluffy lambskin mocs with the wool lining. If I could I would wear them all of the time.

They are awesome. There used to be this Birkenstock outlet I used to go to every summer to grab a pair. But the last time I went the store was closed and I was forced to grab some Bass sandals. Bass did have a buy one get two free but they are not as good as The Birks. Great for the summer and very comfy
