Well, I was way too young to buy it myself, but as soon as I was capable to reach over the lid and work the record player, I would play this record over and over and over again.
Green Onions - Booker T and the M G's
Good thing my Mother loved to hear this song.
About a decade later, this one Outta Space was the first record I actually purchased.
I think this is the oldest so far. On my first outing to a record store, I bought three, Jan & Dean's Drag City and two by artists I can't remember, Beyond the Sea and Washington Square. It must have been around 1962 or so.

Embarrassing but true
I think this was the first I bought...

I used to watch their show every week. My older brother bought a couple of Black and Tan coon hounds he decided to name Sonny and Cher. I tried to talk him out of it. I told him to imagine just how stupid we would feel calling out those names out in the woods at 2AM. Turns out I was right, at least, I felt pretty stupid yelling those names over and over.
Mine was Mr. Jaws and I also had Wichita Lineman
