Of course you can disagree. After all, you've been wrong before!
The Dutchman is definitely crazy, certainly gets points for use of his voice, and is a contender for loudness testing, but in my opinion the Albino still gets the nod for the huge variability of range in this very early use of synthesizers and his "song" is still is the one that is better for vibrating your synapses into submission when a stereo is amped up to eleven.

Nope. My brother named them that. I tried to talk him out of it. He and I never did agree on much.

OK, I'm a little younger than you guys, but I'll play. My first 45 was Queen's 'Another One Bites the Dust.' Had 'Don't Try Suicide' on the flip. Led me to my first album purchase, which was 'The Game.' I had three media options from which to choose for that album. I, of course, chose the 8 track! I now own it on vinyl, cassette, and CD. The 8 track is long gone!

The Rolling Stones - Honky Tonk Women was the A side, with You Can't Always Get What You Want as the B side.

To be honest I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Stones until now....

It wasn't my idea. When I was 7 years old Mom took my brother, sister, and I to Sears and told us we could buy one 45 each. I can't remember what I wanted to buy, but it definitely was more along the lines of Carpenters. My brother (6 years older) convinced me people would think I was a wimp if I got some sappy bubble gum rock and didn't get the Steppenwolf. Like most younger brothers, I caved under the pressure. After all, he was officially a teenager:)

Now my big brother is my best friend and thanks to him I can now say I actually bought a classic as my first 45.
