It was an Elvis Presley 45 my mother gave to me. She got it when she was in her early teens. His latest flame and My little sister was the songs. I loved that record and played it hundreds of times on a Radionette player my grandfather gave me.

I have my mother to thank for the first disc I owned, and it wasn't a 45 but an album 33 1/3, Hard Days Night.
The first 45 I can remember buying and playing 'til it was worn out was Dancing in the Streets by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. I still love to hear it when it's played on the radio.
