Thread: Gun show Stuff

Here's a link to some of the interesting things seen at the gun show. A custom knife maker was selling this stuff thought it was interesting. There was Ivory, Black G 10, Canvas Micarta, Camel Bone in various colors, Mammoth Ivory, Buffalo Horn, Stuff for buffing and polishing. Some of his prices seemed high but I am not sure as I have no experience in this area. His Ivory was to small for scales though not long enough. He said he could get longer pieces, what he had was for a knife handle.

I have seen similar guys at gunshows around here, unfortunately most of their material is good for knife handles and pistol grips but not of the right dimensions for scales!
