    Default Antique hunting

So it being Saturday and a day off for me, the fiance and I headed off for a antique adventure.

Every store we went into I asked for razors or stones but they all seemed to only have de's.

We did end up finding some stuff but nothing razor related.

We saw a bone china 48 pc set for 400 bucks but we walked away from it cuz one of the tea cups was missing (still a great set if your in Toronto msg me and I'll tell you where if your interested)

In the end we purchased a nice vintage typewriter that worked perfectly. So how was everyone elses antique hunt this weekend?

    Default antique hunting

I wait until tomorrow. St. Lawrence Market on Sunday morning in Toronto.

Not always a tonne of stuff, but I've found a few gems there. It's always a good time though. I get to get out of the house for a couple of hours and just be by myself.

Going to bed early tonight, just so I can be there first thing, while the picking is ripe!

    Later,
    Maxi

A rare nothing. Did see a Japanese razor that I probably should have gone for but wasn't sure enough to pull the trigger on but that was it. Oh well, always next time.

Just came back from the antique market with a few things. Was saddened to find that someone had been there before me this morning, and picked up about 6 or 8 razors! I was kicking myself. I was up earlier in the morning, but spend a couple hours honing first. (Enter explanative here)!!)

Oh well. Everything happens for a reason.

    There's always next week.
