I quickly sent the link to my father in law, he has been lawyer for almost 40 years. I use to joke with him about going to law school and I was told he would make my wife divorce me.

It was my three year long drawn out divorce/custody battle that made me want to become a lawyer. I figured that going to law school to bring out the worst of my own personal qualities was either a good way to take advantage of my own quirks or else was a really bad idea bringing out the worst of myself. In the end, I chose to be a little less of a jerk and so I did not go to law school.
