    Default He say you BradeRunner!

    Hello,

So I see some folks here have BladeRunner Icons and it makes me wonder...

BladeRunner is one of my favorite Movies. I saw it on release with my father and it's one of his favorite movies as well. He didn't pass down straight or even safety razor shaving to me although we did have safety razors in the house as I was growing up.

I love this movie. It's one of the only movies I have owned on LaserDisc, DVD, and now BuluRay. The LaserDisc release was probably the reason I bought a LaserDisc. The extras on that disc were awesome.

Anyway another BladRunner Fans out there?

I'm a Bladerunner fan to the extent that I've read Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep ? a few times and watched the movie more times than I could recall. Of course I own the 5 disc special DVD edition here that has it with and without the voice over added scenes and what have you.

I read the book and thought the movie was WAY better. I liked the double triple twist the book was playing but liked the more subtle double twist the movie had. I also loved the "more life F***er" moment in the movie. So many great visual moments as well.

    I have the Five-Disc Complete Collector's Edition

I must say that I liked the movie better as well. Now if I could just decide which version I like the best .

Love the movie, one of the best Sci fi films to date, and the special collectors edition(briefcase) is one of the most complete and impressive collections i have seen.

    Default Great flick!

Yep...+1 for me, too! Dunno how many times I've
watched it, and it never ceases to impress me.

Ever notice how many of the visual effects have
appeared in later films? And the visual references
    to the "masters"...Bradbury, et all?

    It's a classic!
