Default Always use a return address

I sent off a NOS Revisor to Tom Beusing and it came back. In fact I gave the address to a worker to post for me. He only used the name, street and thought CO was California and that was it, no post code..nada.
So luckily it is back in safe hands.
If you read this Tom , do you still want this / interested or else I'll offer it up for sale ?.

Good reminder! I've shipped hundreds of packages and never lost one, but I'm careful to add return address info on all packages. Also, I include a note INSIDE the package with the items destination and return info.

I saw a program on tv which sort of followed the mail through the process from shipping to receiving. They showed a huge room full of packages, big and small, that had lost their labels. They will actually open a package to look for any info on a possible owner, to see if they can still deliver/return it. All of these packages contained a combined millions of dollars worth of goods that were "lost", suspended in red tape within the postal system.

My wife received a package from the UK to Canada that had been torn open. The torn cardboard box arrived in an official postal bag which explained that it had been damaged and "sorry". Inside she found the items she ordered, along with a number of UK chocolate bars (whirly birds i think). When she thanked the shipper for including the treats, the shipper replied that she hadn't added anything extra to the package. Either they were mistakenly placed in the package after anumber of them split open and spilled their contents, or chocolate is the method the UK postal system uses to apologize.

Did you smack your co-worker?! Not being from the US I understand not knowing state abreviations, but every country that I know of uses a postal code of some sort.
