Thanked: 3795It will be like college, but like my era in college, there will be no internet.
When I went to college, I took everything in a suitcase and a footlocker. I'll be taking about 500 razors, probably 50 hones, a Baldor buffer, a Shopsmith, a dust collector, an air filter, and the stuff I already mentioned, so it won't quite be like college. Then again, in college I was really only interested in classes and girls. This time, I'll be interested in work, razors, and missing my wife!
I guess minimalistic is relative, as I'm clearly taking more than I took to college.

Well I have been shaving with a single straight for the past 6 months. So I will try to limit my items to appease SWMBO.

Everything is according to the perception of the individual. What one sees as being Minimalist might not be what another sees. One's reality is not always another's reality.

I am sorry, but what is SWMBO. I figure it is the other half, but not really sure what it stands for.

Living minimally is the best way IMO if you can do it. Try using the "3 second rule". Pick something up and if you can't figure out within 3 seconds whether you NEED to keep it, throw it out without question.
