    the thing with the iron bar...did that. with a 14" Sabatier, a leg of lamb, and a package on. Ruined the knife. trying to impress a waitress. she thought i was a dope. got back at her. told her saucisson lyonnaise was a boned-out rolled-up fetal calf. ten thousand comedians out of work.

    You will notice he is not using just one sword.
    A blade that will cut the mushroom top so cleanly may suffer damage against steel targets. Not to detract from the guy's skill. Just saying horses for courses. Swords for cutting heavier/harder armor were made with thicker profiles.

    I lost a lot of respect for him after I saw him cut through a sheet of stainless and then showed the enormous nick in the blade like some kind of badge of honor. I think that's a lot of disrespect to his tools just to show off for the camera.

    I don't think he was showing a nick. The subtitles were saying the blade was undamaged, I think he was showing that.
