Thread: Poll, who here plays video games?

As a gamer since childhood, I'm curious about how many people here play video games as a regular basis.

1) Play them almost, if not every day.
2) I enjoy gaming on the weekends.
3) I've played the occasional game my son/daughter/niece/nephew have.
4) I play some social media games (farmville/mafia wars/ etc)
5) I never play video games, I have better things to do with my life.

If a mod can make an actual poll of this, that would be great.

Personally, I play video games almost every day. They are my entertainment, my escape, my release. I find them much more stimulating than TV, and so I don't even have a TV (get my news from the net).

I've played Diablo II since its release in 2000 & still have'nt gone past level 89 on any character.
Played thru Klingon Honor Guard, the Myth games... no not Myst ... Jedi Knight II & the odd chess game if you consider that a video game lol.
Never played an online game in my life. I guess I don't play much... or enough

I don't quite fit into any of the given catagories. I fall between 2 and 3. I own an XBox and have a selection of games to play. Rarely do I actually play them. I enjoy them when I do, but I feel the day can be better spent achieving something else.

I'd be a 1. I got hooked on PC cames when the original Warcraft came out and haven't stopped since. I mostly play shooters and driving games (especially rally), but stray into other genres as well.

I will never, ever play WOW, though. That game is like a second job, except you are the one paying.

I play almost daily -- usually either UT3 or COD:BO on PC. I keep my DSLite next to my bed for when I have a hard time falling asleep. I also just donated money to the second Humble Bundle; pick an amount to donate and choose where you want the money to go, and five great indie games are yours to download for Win/Mac/Linux.

From Pong to my current XBox 360 and Wii, I play as often as I can. I recently quit playing an MMORPG called Dofus that I had been playing since 2004. I gave it up so I could put the $$ towards new razors

I'm the one never vote although I did play quite a bit of ms Pacman thirty or so years ago. Young fellow that works at the tattoo shop can play 9 hours non stop if he isn't interrupted by a customer.

Ocassionally, but since getting nhl11 that may incrrease dramatically.
