Once I found that the new Xboxes had basically cameras that watch what you do for advertising ,I vowed to stay with my older one.I might start doing some PC gaming, but quite honestly,if this is the way media is going, gaming is not that important to me . My Freedom is much more important, regardless how cool or good the game is. There is this game called shaving which I found is really cool. It's self reliant for the most part, you can do it every day but usually only once.Sometimes you have to pay the Honemaster to do some sharpening, but as you move up in levels your skill improves and you can seek and gain knowledge to increase your own honing skills. Oh and the best part.......when you have reached the top skill level, you get to marry the kings daughter who is really hot and you live happily ever after in a big castle.......of course...I may have fudged the truth a little....or did I ?!

Up until the end of high school I played a lot.

But since then I have yet to find the time to get into anything. When I do feel like playing I am usually too tired to and end up watching TV or something else.

I would probably be lost if I went out and got one of the new systems. Nintendo 64 was as far as I got. Since then nothing, and never played a Playstation either.

I play mainly when either my brother or my friends come over. Sometimes the missus and I play a game together.

    Mainly shooters: Left4Dead2, Unreal Tournament (99, 2004 and 3)
and the occasional strategy game like: Warhammer 40.000 (I and II) and one of the Command and Conquer games.

Since this is somewhat topical; if any of you aren't aware of the Humble Bundle pack of independent games, their second pack is available now.

    Site is here:
    The Humble Indie Bundle #2

Five great games: Braid (worth it itself), Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos and Revenge of the Titans, all for however much you want to donate. And you also get to choose where those donations go; either to the developers, the website, Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), and/or Child's Play charity. Can be activated through Steam (or not) and all are available for Win, Mac and Linux.

Been playing Braid a bit, and donated for a second pack to get my brother for Xmas.

Now if you had had an option that said "every once in a blue moon when i'm reliving my youth and somebody sends me a donkey kong link or something like that..."

although i am considering putting a few 80s era video games (pac man, donkey kong, galaga, etc.) in the basement for my kids. and, yeah, i'd probably play the shit out of those games. i know i'm good at 'em.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm in my 20's and I never play video games. I don't watch TV very much either. I used to complain that I never had time to do anything, until I cut down on TV. It's rediculous to see the amount of time we actually have when we're not sitting in front of that thing.

played all the time from alex the kidd, started playing the monkey island series recently and love it, very clever games its just one big punchline.

I mostly have my gaming sessions on PSP (with emulators) which keeps me plenty entertained. RPG'S(secret of evermore, FF7-9) and plenty more besides. I love FPS's - black ops got boring very quickly having played cod:mw1+2 to death. Grid is always fun and killzone 2 are also favourites.

I am saddened to see the quality of games go down hill with the advent of mobile phone games the wii and the DS. hardware/games made on the cheap that are shallower than Paris Hiltons personality.

I'm 1 out of 2 on that front. TV, I cant stand because the programs are just mind numbing. Piano, French and learning Japanese take priority over playing games and tele. I use playing games to relax my mind after learning stuff or work, its a learning tool

I just purchased little big planet yesterday and spent about an hour on it. Very fun little game. Or if you include all the online stuff, then it is a huge game, which will never end.
