Received the IBM Edge on Wednesday. Took it from the box, started it up and did not like the feel of it at all. Called and made arrangements for a return and then ordered T series. I guess you could say that I ordered the Thinkpad because I did not want a Dell or HP. The Edge felt like a Dell, not a Thinkpad. The T43 I have is a tank and I wanted another. Upgraded a bit on advice here. Went to the I7 and 8gig ram and they threw in a 5year warranty. I'll keep you posted when it arrives. Happy New Year to all.
