Straight razor tattoo
I got inspired to do some tattoo design work the other day, and in the process of doing some commission work for a friend of mine I decided to do one of a straight razor as well. So, for those of you who are interested in tats, here's what I came up with.

Well, Oklahoma finally decided to join the civilized world. We were the last state in the union where tattooing was illegal. It will be legal in November -- gotta give the politicians time to figure out exactly how to tax everything under the sun. I'm thinking about some new ink, but 6 months from now who knows where my mind will be.

Thanked: 2That's a nice style. I like the minimal lines and maximum effect. There are actually plenty of straight razor tattoos floating around. The "traditional style" or "old school" type flash has plenty of straights, usually open to about 45degrees, with a slogan intertwined. I think I've got a button with some traditional razor flash on it.
Here it is. Sailor Jerry's "Love Thy Neighbor" w/ straight razor, brass knuckles and billy club.http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...6/P6120262.jpg

I like it a lot. The bottom pin is offcentered, and if done that way, I think it will look like the guy who did the tatoo screwed up. You might think about putting it in the middle.

That's one direction I'll never go. That's just plain too far I think.

Thanks for all of the comments. In case nobody recognized it, I based it on Vlad's Minty W&B from the "Making of..." thread.
