got rid of my jeep
so i finally decided to get rid of my jeep, after the drive from nashville to cleveland in the middle of winter (i had no back windows) i decided to go for something with solid windows and some sort of insulation so i upgraded to a jag, and boy is it great.

Thanked: 3795About 25 years ago I was "commuting" with a guy between Rochester and Minneapolis Minnesota in January for a couple of weeks. He managed to roll his soft-top jeep twice in a single week before I volunteered for us to ride in my old but warm and stable junker sedan. I'm not a fan of plastic-windowed, canvas-topped, rollover toys in the middle of the winter.
Oh, and yeah, jeep to jag is quite the upgrade! Enjoy the warmth!Last edited by Utopian; 01-05-2011 at 04:45 AM.

I miss my Jeep. Sold it, then bought a bike. Sold the bike. Now I want the jeep again. Lol. Nothing better than yanking off the top and the doors and hitting the pits. I don't miss the fact that it's a pig on gas.

i will miss it in the summer time, there is just nothing like driving an open vehicle with no doors or roof, i will also miss the crazy looks i get driving it in the winter with no windows, but maybe ill get another one down the line at some point.

I always wanted one but have never quite rationalized it. Even if I had one I know I'd never go off road with it so what would be the point ? I still think they are super cool though.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
