    Default The Big O

I love Roy Orbison. For as long as I can remember I always have. From the moment I first heard him as a kid I was awestruck by the phenomenon that was 'The Big O'.
In my opinion the guy had one of the finest recorded voices of all time.
This is one of my all time favourites.

Any of you gentlemen enjoy a bit of Roy? Any tales of live shows or transcendent experiences would be much appreciated

In the seventh grade, I had a geometry teacher who looked exactly like Roy Orbison-- it was the only time in my life that I ever got a C. Needles to say, whenever I hear the song 'You Got It', I fall down on the floor in the shape of an acute angle, and whimper like a little schoolgirl... OH THE SHAME!

OK, sure, I still like Roy Orbison's music, but when I see an thread entitled "The Big O," I gotta admit that Roy was not what came to mind.

The guy cold hit the highest of notes or scrape the bottom of bass! He had more range than anybody, a great dramatic style. I was so glad when he made his comeback with the Mystery Girl CD.
