I'm not a football fan, so excuse my ignorance. Is this thread just to gloat about the Pats beating the Jets?

Not yet... they play next week. The Jets beat Indianapolis this week which gives them the chance to play New England for a chance to head to the AFC Championship game.

I think one reason for the talk is good ole Rex Ryan and his blustering at the beginning of the season.

The Pats beat the Jets pretty handily earlier in the year, and next week they're going to play again... at Foxborough. He's just talking smack to Jets fans, but it's J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets... The tri-jet by itself is soooo lame

I'm a Miami fan (speaking of lame) rooting for the Pats as the lesser of two evils. Go Ravens, though.

I would love to see the Seahawks go all the way to the Superbowl.. mainly because I hate Chicago and Green bay.. though I do like Atlanta.

So next weeks playoff games are

    AFC

    Pittsburgh vs Baltimore
New England vs New York Jets

    NFC

    Chicago vs Seattle
    Green Bay vs Atlanta
