I saw Firefly the other night and really enjoyed it. I'll watch all the episodes this time. Sadly, I didn't pay any attention to it when it came out. It was interesting to see Anna (from "V") as the beautiful "companion", and another character from Farscape - which I really enjoyed and miss. Just love Eureka.

Dune (the originals) are my favorite sci-fi books, but in alot of ways they really arent sci-fi. Its more like political intrigue. You might want to read The Dosadi Experiment, also by Herbert. I thought it was as good as any of the Dune series. You'd want to read Whipping Star first, which was OK, but you need it to understand alot of whats happening in Dosadi.

The Dune saga is awesome. Actually the books that Mr. Herbert's son added to the series are really cool as well. I'll be re-reading the entire series soon starting with the Butlerian Jihad.

I'm really amazed that no one has mentioned TV's greatest SciFi , Star Trek. Long live the Federation. I even have a razor manufactured by James Kirk & Sons. Moving along, does anyone know when the new season of Dr. Who begins on BBC America?

Star Trek is great. To bad Enterprize didn't last long I really enjoyed it. More so because it tied things up eg. The hole thing with Klingons with no forehead ridges.

I can't believe that I somehow missed this thread. As I'm typing this, I'm in the midst of rewatching Farscape. I also love Firefly, all if the Stargate series', X-Files, Dr Who, and Torchwood. Another classic sci-fi western comedy(though more western than sci-fi) us The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., starring Bruce Campbell.

Another great show is called Eureka. Not entirely a Sci-Fy, but a great show none the less.
