Thanked: 8Fubar
Well the big cheese is flying down tomorrow and it looks like our office will be closed down. Bugger..
So this means no job and the nasty prospect of finding another one.
It also means curtailing my straight purchases until further notice..even worse.
So if you have something to post to me, don't send it to my business address, I'll pm you with my home one.
Thanks
Gary

Thanked: 2You could always go into the Kauri sales biz if you've got the connection. I know the owners of several exotic wood stores in my area if you're lookin' to make contacts.

Well the result is in. It is a bit like the opening lines of "A Tale of Two Cities",
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
The office will close 31 August so I have 9 weeks to find a job. So whilst the news was bad I do have some time.

Sorry to hear the news Gary. I'm glad to hear that you at least have a fair amount of time to seek another job, and maybe milk the references.

All the best to you in your hunt Gary. I was there very recently myself, but in my case it was self imposed. In my new job I get to do what I went to school for, perform! It seems the change was worth it for me.

I been with my company for 13 years probably because I hate looking for work so I understand. Good luck.. and keep a stiff upper lip, especially while shaving.
