Storm of 2011
Well this is North Central Iowa (my house)...
6' Dog Kennel out my back door...
Other pictures out the front and back door...

Thanked: 1263It seems to be one of those years. Up here it's been said that we haven't had this much snow since back in the 70's. I remember it vaguely as a kid and the no school days because of weather...lol. It was fun then but I don't like it anymore since now I have to shovel it...lol.

We missed a lot of the storm. We did get about 0.5 to an inch of ice though. Power outages all over the city from falling trees and such. Our area got lucky and it was only out for about 2 hours.

Guys, don't worry, when they get the global warming under control things will go back to normal.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Here in Indy we got about 3/4th of an inch of ice then about an inch of snow followed by more ice. For nearly 24 hours we had this falling:
On the other hand, our huskies are quite happy with this.
