a dessert thread?
just took my black cherry clafouti out of the oven.. it needs to cool for awhile and then i'll post a photo if it on a plate.

it normally looks much nicer.. but i went overkill on the cherries and they coloured all the custard a dark purple.. wait till i get it on the plate.. .

The weather outside is reminiscent of my visits to the UK. Rather cool, drizzling and none too tropical. My mind wanders off to warmer seasons. My wife and I eat at a little place down on the beach. After several boat drinks, a couple dozen oysters, a shrimp salad and some grilled grouper, here's the dessert, Key Lime Pie
The older I get, the better I was

Unfortunately I am at work.. and probably by the time I get home the left overs will be gone.. but this weekend I made traditional Lemon Bars , no bake cookies, and a Red Velvet Cake (homemade not boxed) .. had a few places to go and a Super Bowl party to attend.
Probably end up making Creme Brulee this weekend for a Valentines day treat. Though I may have to see about replicating the above chocolate heart, raspberry, and passion fruit mousse idea.
