Thanked: 1185Got Links?
Since this is kind of a retro crowd I figured I'd ask. How many of you guys own cuff links? I hadn't worn them for a very long time, so I rocked them at work today. Thrift store specials with large tiger eye stones. Wouldn't want to wear them daily but it does kick up the dandy factor exponentially.

Thanked: 50I don't like to wear shirts, I always get too warm in them and look like a corporate bastard in them(no offence). Black T-shirts with logo's and pictures of metal bands for me.
However, when I see cufflinks lying around at antique- or thriftstores I always want to get them, for they look amazing and give a charisma+2 bonus. When I find shirts that fit me nicely I maybe will wear them, but the dandy look is a bit too much.

I don't wear formal shirts on a daily basis, but when I do, I always wear cufflinks.
Wearing a suit, both for business and social gatherings require style, and style means cufflinks.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Yes, I've got several pairs.

I have several pairs and I do wear them occassionally, but my work is more of a casual environment, so it's business casual dress. However, I have noticed a growing trend in other people that wear them. I just returned from Vegas and while attending a conference, I noticed there were quite a few people wearing them, more than what I have noticed in the past. Will it become mainstream? I doubt it. The workplace environment doesn't require that anymore and few people will go put forth the extra effort (present company excluded!). But when they do, it stands out. As an example, I wear a pocket watch because I have a paranoia about being late but I don't like to wear anything on my arms/hands. Yes, I usually have my phone but I like the look of a watch and the sound of the ticking clock. People have noticed it and I've been told it gives me a more "polished" look. That's not why I wear it, but I do appreciate nod.
