Thanked: 1185Chinese Walmart
Got this email and thought I would share. Now I'm not Chicomm bashing or anything but WOW! Open troughs of unwrapped meat with every passerby handling your potential food? I bet the old guy was digging at the fellas just a few seconds before the pic. Tanks of frogs, crocodiles, etc. Not to mention mashed ducks hung on a rack like flip flops. And my personal favorite, antibacterial underwear.

I am surprised at all of the refrigeration being used, I remember the farmers markets in Korea, you could buy the worlds largest leeches from a vendor with a wheel barrow surrounded by an immense cloud of flies. Fresh (?) fish from a sheet of plywood with its own swarm of flies and the list could go on. I wished I knew what happened to those pictures, it would be fun to scan and post them.
PS To whom it may concern: I am not bashing Asians, I have had too many good meals with them.It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

I gotta tell you that you can find some really odd stuff here in Atlanta at a couple of the (very big) international markets, but not crocodiles and live turtles and frogs.
They should market some of that anti bacterial underwear to some of the Walmartians I have seen in this country.

All these food looked bit exotic except ribs that made me hungry. In urgent need i would also accept Walmart brand spirits.
And yes i'd like to believe that they don't sell underwear in the food sectionIn a case they do that will for sure raise some questions but not any answers i wouldn't want to know.

Thanked: 1185Yeah, I think back then we were both probably what used to be called "high speed, low drag", "all thrust and no vector", like most young GIs I was bulletproof back then and I only had one speed, FULL BLAST.
Back then, my motto was "I'll get all the sleep I need when I'm dead." These days I have a different motto, "If I had known I was gonna live this long I'd have taken better care of myself."The older I get, the better I was

You forgot to mention the spring thaw and the smell of a winters worth of urine in the air!
