Thanked: 346I'd like to help, but my skills are in C/C++. Best of luck, though, I've been though plenty of those crunches myself. Mountain Dew is your friend.

I had a problem that required VBA a week or so ago, but I failed to get anywhere with it. Sorry I can't help.
If it isn't too much trouble, could you post a little bit of what you are doing? You got me curious.

I cannot believe I got this done. After battling through a hard drive with damaged clusters, ADODB objects not recognizing, and my lack of knowledge about Access, I finally have 3 VBA projects done. They all appear to be in good order too. Now if the class instructor will give me a perfect score on all 3 I can still get an A. the penalty for late submission was 10% and it's a classic 90 to 100 = A We shall see.
Thank God It's over.

hah! I got an email from the instructor that the projects were all graded. I just checked the online final and midterm grades for everything. I got an A AFTER PENALTIES WOOOOOHOOOO!
Man I'm so stoked right now. I took 2 three (semester) hour courses this summer 1 session. jamming 2 classes like that into 5 weeks is like taking 18 to 20 hours on a regular semester. Talk about brain burn!
Now I officially have enough credits to receive my 2nd bachelor of science degree. I wonder if it will do me any good in the job arena .

Congrats! I wish I could've helped you but I'm a Unix guy. Got a dozen or so languages in my portfolio but none of them include Visual *anything*.
As for the job market, can't give you much advice there. I've been doing this stuff for 20 years or so, been doing it professionally for 12 of them give or take, I have 2 patents and three very good companies under my belt (toyota, sun and eBay) and I *still* don't have *any* degree let alone 2 bachelors degrees so I guess I'm not one to ask whether you need one or not
I can't imagine it hurting you though, and you probably won't need to prove yourself as often as I have since you have some paper behind you. I've finally got enough experience and street cred that I don't have to prove my chops every time I take on a new job, but now I'm burnt out and thinking about getting out of high tech completely heh.
