I use a USB modem that connects OTA to Verizon's wireless network. Where I live my only options for broadband are that or satellite. The satellite providers are too bandwidth restrictive for my needs.

Many years ago I had a letter saying my phone had been cut off for not paying the bill.

Well, I had paid it a few weeks earlier at the local post office. I pick the phone up and find it's actually working! So, I call them to complain. I tell them I'm calling on the phone that's supposedly cut off and they insisted I couldn't be. I tell them I paid at the local post office and they said there wasn't a post office there!

I gave up at that point and never heard any more about it!
