Thread: Finally ...........

manged to get a few precious minutes to say 'hello guys I hope you are all good n well ' ... I've been on vacation and on my return to work I've been absolutely snowed under with work , I suppose the rest of my team need a vaction too

That's the only bad thing about taking a vacation. When you get back, you still have all of the work you left behind, plus all of the stuff you would have normally done while you were gone. Nobody takes care of any of that stuff, so it's all up to you to handle.

I usually end up doing a "working vacation" where I check email and handle customer requests for an hour or so a day, and then at least I don't have that facing me when I get back.

I hope you get caught up quickly, and can dive back in soon.

I did actually try and logon in Bangkok to check the work my team was doing - I scheduledit b4 I left and felt guilty leaving them in case it all went wrong -- My good lady however had different idea's -- so I took the sensible option and did what she wanted ... ... everybit the peace keeper I am . The other downside was having to use a safety razor for the first time in nearly a year it was god dam awful ! ..

I must admit, I never enjoy the second half of a holiday - always dreading what awaits me when I return.
