Default Is there such thing as a quadruple of scotch?

I have heard of a double...but my wife took a bottle of wine to our neighbors for "girl talk" and I wanted some scotch...I measure all my scotch out so I dont drink so I dont go through a bottle to quick and it occurred to me I drank a double double or quadruple....can I order that in a restaurant? BTW...macallan 12 year...not as good as the 18 much more smokey and more bite...I had it neat...is was either that or oban...but Im low on oban.

Talisker comes from the Isle of Skye. Awesome, my favourite Malt. Find it and get some, it is absolutely fabulous.

If you can buy Oban you will find Talisker.

Is it a single malt or is it blended?

I love the MacAllan. The 12 year old is my go to scotch, can't afford to drink the 18 as much as I'd like but the 12 is in my mind one of the absolute best singlemalts available in it's price range.

I don't touch blended stuff either. Life's too short to drink crappy scotch.

Oh, on that note... hot scotchie... early morning brewing session, you take a pint of the first runnings of the mash (very sweet, caramelly high gravity first runnings from the malt prior to boiling, warm (around 150 degrees or so). You add a couple fingers of scotch to it and nurse that while you're sparging your mash. Guaranteed to make a brew session go smoothly.
