    Question Fusion Pro-Glide Ad

Am I the only one seeing this?

Is there really a Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide cartridge razor ad on SRP?

What sly dog sold them that ad space?

    Perhaps Gillette hasn't heard

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I think they're called "Sheeple" and probably would drink the Kool-Aid without even thinking about it twice.

Maybe Gillette really owns this site and Lynn is really some rich exec at Gillette. Maybe there be some plot they hatched that we just don't understand yet.

    Makes you think eh?

Somehow that's not how I remember it...but I think that rendition is more accurate in this application.

It just cracked me up to see that. There's one on the banner to the right as I'm typing this. Several times I've heard guys say "You can get a good razor from any of the vendors that advertise here on SRP." Better be careful not to say that anymore...send some new guy off to a gillette website and he'll NEVER find a straight!

Exactly, the sheeple are alive and well. On the brighter side, perhaps by including this ad a google search of Gillette Fusion would include a hit to SRP wherein some of the sheeple may be compelled to become true believers (in real shaving.)

i saw that too. i'm sure it's just temporary. a lot of them seem to be just the google's context pick until dave sets them up again as he had them.

That's what made me laugh about it. I wanted to know who suckered them into buying that ad space! It's probably just a google ad widget, but it cracked me up.
