As for the High Sticks lets ask Pacioretty when it has been enough. Chara was give suspensions in a game on 2 seperate ocassions this year that were later overturned by Colie Campbell at the NHL offices. Collie who funny enough has a son playing for the Bruins. Oh wait even if you take Charas 2 suspensions out of the mix the Bruins had more suspended players in the 2010/2011 season than the Canucks. And I think it was teh Paille hit to the head had his own team mates speaking out and calling him out for it.
Pacioretty should have learned along time ago in juniors to keep your head up,and know where you on the ice.And Savard is still seeing double, from that Cooke hit to the head. Its a tuff game, but the hi sticking is dirty!!!!!!!!!

1 - His head WAS up
2 - He was dragged along the entire length of the bench, while the puck was 15 ft ahead. He burned Chara who did a terrible defensive play WAY before he arrived at the dangerous part of the arena.
3 - A guy who has played 1000 games in the NHL and claims he didn't know who he was dragging or where the stanchion was is either a liar or a complete retard.

No matter how you cut it, pushing someone's head into a post is in NOT part of any game.

Please do not forget Chara's arm extension just prior to impact which IMO steered and ensured Pacioretty found the turn buckle. Chara is credited as being one of the strongest individuals in the NHL, a good straight arm from him is going to help steer you in whatever direction he chooses

I am just in busting balls for fun. Hell I am a leafs fan, that should tell you all.

Truth is i have a hard time supporting Boston because 1) I am a Canadian 2) we gave you some of the missing pieces for this cup run in exchange for Kessel! Only consolation is the conditional 2nd round pick comes back to Toronto now as you made the cup finals. So if nothing else it was less expensive to get Kessel. 3) we gave you Kaberle as well and Rask. Rask was a mistake, Toronto had to decide between Pogue and Rask. They kept Pogue who has vanished into the ether.

At Least with you guys in the finals we get the conditional second round back on the Kessel deal and another 2nd conditional second round on the Kaberle deal. So if memory serves me we now have 2 first round picks this year and 2 second round picks. That ought to translate to a bag of pucks and a new whistle for Ron Wilson with our recent draft record

Okay, I'll give you the Rask deal, but Kaberle?! Have you watched him playing for the B's? The B's desperately need to start building their defensive corps soon, with young players who will be around for a while.

Not sure I follow the Kaberle comment. IMO he was way over rated in Toronto. Hence I said Rask was a mistake did not mention Tomas. If he is playing well then good for you guys and him to I guess. I am sure playing in Toronto is tuff. Everything Leafs is under a microscope. If Burke has a 2 flusher in the morning it is front page of the sports section, if it is hockey stick shaped then it is front page of the paper.

Maybe that pressure was to much for Kaberle, but i always thought he was soft and got beat at bad times or found himself out of position resulting in goals. Lots of Leafs fans felt differently I am sure, but those are Leaf Fans not hockey fans
