    Default A Failure to Communicate

    Phone Conversation

    Store: Good Morning this is ****'s Bakery

    Customer: Yes, I'd like to order a cake for a going away party

    Store: What would you like your cake to say?

    Customer: Best Wishes Suzanne and underneath that We Will Miss You

    Store: OK, it should be ready tomorrow by about ten o'clock

    Customer: Thanks so much, have a nice day

    "Under Neat" instead of "underneath"... Whoever wrote that is probably a rural Minnesotan.

    Why that is totally stupid and unacceptable....mixing up caps and lowercase like that.

    Whoever wrote that is most definitely one of my former students.

    Thanks for that priceless picture of a world confused. Half the people can't listen and the other spell — we're in good shape. At least the bakery made the cake. That's something.
