Personally I do not see the humor or pleasure in it. When I was 17/18 probably would have made my life (IMO at the time). However 26 or so years later. I feel for the girl a little. SR Prom is a 1 time thing, unlike most other events. Hell even a majority of the population has more Weddings than proms. It will now fall short of her dream.
You write in your post about karma, Ask yourself even if you had no interest in getting back with her long term (which I agree with) if you were to gentleman up, and go to the prom with her recognizing that you are doing it to help her. What does that do for your karma, conversely finding humor in another person loss/failure/sadness/Error (Whatever you want to call it) and sharing on the internet what does that do to the what goes around comes around theory.
We all (me included) like to speak of karma when we see someone that we are not fond of get a swift kick in the taco. But in reality to truly want to live the what goes around comes around We should probably reach down and help pick them up after getting their nuts rattled.

well thats tru but in the same token she waited from febuary untill lastnight to try and fix things, which leads me to belive that she is just desprate for a date, if she reconized her mistake and wanted to fix it more than 48 hrs from the event i may have been a bit more willign to go, but im not gonna get my head in a spin worring about the tux, flowers, and all that other stuff when there is only little time left. Like i said if she still shows intrest after the prom than i will consider letting her prover herself to me untill that time im not gonna sweat it.

Frankly I would not sweat it. Probably i would have had no interest in getting back with her long term even if she crawled on broken glass begging for forgivness. My point was if your going to talk about Karma and what goes around comes around we all need to look at our own actions and motives at in good times and bad. It is real easy to step up in good times, but takes a real man to step up for others in bad times
then I could ask the question that I sure everyone has thought at least to themself. Where are the odds of getting laid better? Trolling bush parties or going with a known entity......Just sayingLast edited by dyimages; 06-03-2011 at 06:01 PM.

It's not Karma, but as they say "the best revenge is living well". Can you tell me the name of the school and her favorite aftershave? ;-)

I think that's the smartest play right there. Don't be mean, but at the same time don't be nice. In most relationships throughout life one person never acts like an Adult, so therefore you have to. Just remember, girls are like buses, another one comes by every 20 min.
