What comes around goes around......Karma????
So me and my gf broke up in late febuary, she was attracted to a married man with three kids and i say fine see ya bye, We had plans for her senior prom and my junior prom which is tomorrow,(they hold them together) dont ask me why.
She called me up last night balling and singing the blues about not havign a date for the prom and that this married guy just wanted to be her friend because he was happily married. So now she is lonly and blah blah blah and she has the nerve to ask me to take her to prom I told her froget it im not going ( i m headign to my own party out over the mountain with a "friend"so my question is. IS this karma at work lol??? I found alot of humor in a girl getting what she had coming. Figured you guys that have ever had this type of issue would enjoy the story.

Good call, you played that just right I think.
Seems like she wanted to have her cake and eat it too! Some peoples nerve never ceases to amaze me.
My response if an ex had called me up like that would have been "sucks to be you. Bye now" *click*

and im pretty sure she is gonna regret this prom, she is still going she said even tho she is alone,. Im sure she will never make the same mistake again. i for one and as sad as this is to say, im happy im not going, id rather be on the mountain in my buddies jeep hittign the grad parties out there and maby meet some chicks, over dancing in a tux but i would have swallowed my pride and went for her but now im free to go so i think that pi**ed her off a bit when i told her what i was doing.

o i did like her at one point but i moved on and until last night i dident ever think about her again. she really shocked me when she called, but im not going to make her happy when she could verry well turn around and leave me again when she eyeballs somebody else she wants. So if she still shows intrest after prom i may slowly start becmign part of her life again. But untill then im gonna enjoy my free time and enjoy being free and wild untill i meet the one that i will settle down with.... but im no where near ready to settle down.

I don't. I find this situation is just her making a stupid mistake. Don't get me wrong, I think you absolutely did the right thing. You just gave her a very important lesson in life, and she can hopefully come out of this experience as a much better human being and learn from her mistake. However, is finding pleasure in someone elses misfortunes, however deserved they might be, something good ?

She has to prove to you that she's learned from her mistake. Until then stay away. I've seen a few people get burned later in life with a familly & kids, and it's absolutely brutal. Like you said, enjoy your free time and make every second count.
Good luck to you !
