UFC 131
So where do we think the card is gonna head? Personally I think carwin is gonna KO Dos Santos in the 2nd, despite JDS being the favorite going into the fight.
Also wanna see my boy Florian do well in his featherweight debut, but not holding my breath for it.
Mark Munoz decision win over Maia. As much as I hate to say it, All-American wrestling has been trumping black belt BJJ alot lately, and Munoz has the skills to pay the bills. That is, if he can manage the takedown. If it stands up, I think Maia will out-strike him.
Einemo will likely dominate in his debut, seeing as how DFW had originally slated him against post-surgery Carwin. Don't know how it will end, haven't seen einemo or herman in action.
Cerrone via 3rd round TKO, that guy is a beast.
What do you guys think?

My money is on carwin, I think jds is a talented guy but after watching his fight against big country I am doubting his knock out power (although I do think big country has one hell of a chin) and I think carwin can beat him on the ground. Carwin has a great takedown defense and a good wrestling background. I personally like both fighters and just hope for a good fight.
Florian fight should be a good one could go either way.
Yes einemo will win looking forward to that on.
The rest of the ticket I haven't really looked at much.

Thanked: 240Wow do I feel out of the loop I don't recognize a single name on the card. I was never hugely into MMA but it passes the time waiting for mayweather to stop ducking manny so I watched my share. Either way I'm sure it will be better than any boxing match seen in the last 5 years.

Aye to that sentiment, Hekler.
In regards to Carwin - JDS, I don't think Carwin has much to be concerned about in regards to JDS's takedown ability. I think he's somewhat versed in Judo, but for the most part just loves to stand and bang. Same with Carwin, though. He's never shyed away from a gun show and loves to throw down. Don't know if he's ever face a striker of JDS's caliber, but it'll be one hell of an introduction, should he pass, to what lies in store with Velasquez. I don't care what people think about Cain's lack of experience. That kid has some serious skill.

Wow. The Einemo fight shocked me for sure, but JDS's dominance over Carwin shows that he's in the top echelon of the heavyweight division. Not sure where he stacks up against Cain's striking, think I might have to give it to Cain's Muay Thai prowess. I don't see either of those guys getting ko'd in the early rounds, asp it'll be interesting to see what Vain looks like after 25 minutes of fighting. We've already seen that JDS can survive without horribly gassing. It'll be a great one for sure!!
