    I back up and then back up again my important stuff, and I try to back up other stuff that would be a hassle to get another copy of, like media- movies and such.

    If anyone is looking for a somewhat inexpensive solution I highly recommend these--

    Newegg.com - Rosewill R2-JBOD Aluminum 3.5" USB 2.0 DUAL-BAY External Enclosure

    They hold two hard drives, up to at least 2 TB in size, and are all metal and really solidly constructed. I think you could stand on one without it getting hurt. You have to install and format the HDs, but thats really easy.

    What are these things you call "files" ? Are suggesting that you can trust a computer? :-)
