hehe...simon I thought Gary might have bitten to someone calling the NZ flag a British one.
I'm quite happy with our flag. Some groups in Australia are pushing to become a republic and have a new flag. I'm not a Royalist or anything like that but am quite proud of our flag and what it has come to represent.

ps A kiwi is a bird that can't fly and is blind as a bat..and as for the 4 stars, it's the Southern Cross used by navigators in the antipodes. The Union Jack..well I'm a royalist and don't mind one bit. Let's face it if New Caledonia invades at least the Brits can help us out.
