Thread: Crummy technology

Stupid water boiler stopped working this weekend, I dont have a regular kettle to boil water so I have been using a pot to heat water for tea. Works fine but I always make a mess trying to pour it into the tea pot, well off to buy a kettle today.

I agree! My boilers playing up, stupid thing. It'll either not come on at all, or it comes on for about three minutes and then turns off, or it'll come on full whack and heat up so much it hits the emergency cut out and then turns off.... Basically it does two water temperatures. Flay you alive or just melted glacier. Interesting when you're in the shower, thats for sure.

Looks like I'm going to have to get a new one. And thats going to be about eleventy billion pounds.... There goes my eBay shopping for the rest of the year!

I was just talking about my electric kettle I use to boil water for my tea and coffee, I wouldn't wanna bring it in the shower with me lol

so much for technology making your life easier... I never have liked the water boilers... for some reason it doesn't make as good tea imo.

Mine just died last week. The thing was over 10 years old though. New one is on its way.
