Is it male or female?
In a recent email exchange, this question came up: Is a razor male or female?
In other words, does one refer to it as "she" or "he"? Does it depend on what
language one uses?
I always thought of razors as being masculine, and therefore a "he". My friend
said this: "Clearly, sexy razors are 'she', while boring, unattractive yet useful
shavers are 'he'. "
What do you think?

Some of mine are male, others are female, yet others are transgender. There are giants, there are midgets, metrosexuals, rednecks, LGBT, etc. Given enough time I get along just fine with any of them.
I have only a couple that are underaged, though, most of them are in the 'mature' category.

And I always thought a razor was well, just a razor.

Probably a female. You have to take care of them, be gentle with them, show them attention and respect, and if you get careless, they will cut you. My razor is the same way.
