    Default A Little Affirmation

No matter who, or where you are, even if you're not a grumpy old codger, if you watch the news or read the newspaper odds are you're prone to use one (or both) of these frequently:

    1. "What the hell's the matter with people these days?"
    2. "Are there even a dozen decent people left in this country (or planet)?

Well, this story was the odd bit of good news. A reminder that despite living in a world gone mad that occassionally people still display the courage, altruism and random kindness to strangers that it's easy to forget ever existed. Incredible story! The video is a bit wonky but well worth a look (to get the full effect of the story)

And a new one from us youngsters, quite often used in my house when viewing the news, or watching Cops, Hoarders, Cheaters, Intervention, etc.-
3."There is a definite lack of mercy killings these days."

That is a great story. Glad I read it.
