thats funny but what they dont tell you is the 500 bill you will set for a sholdermount and a deer hoof gun rack. the rack does look nice above my bed with my old double sxs 12ga and the deer still stares at me everynight. worth 500 i think.

Wow. I needed that and didn't even know.
That was almost as good as the time my boss showed up to a wedding for a coworker with a couple of coyotes attached to his SUV. By the time the pics were taken, the entire side of his car was covered in blood. Guess what was in the background of the photos! The bride was his niece and he was wearing camo.

Your going to rifle hunt for black bear? Cool, I never have but I heard they die pretty easy. Bow season in VA is about to get started, but I'm very busy trying to get unbroke. Might not see too much of the woods this season. Best of Luck.
    - oh yeah, post a pic of that mount!

I usually take my .30-30 out for Bear. I have yet to see one, though. One of the places I hunt I will see bear all summer long and find droppings during deer season but noooooo, come time for me to shoot one without first yelling "It's coming right at me! I have to shoot it before it eats me!" they're nowhere to be seen. Which is probably good because I don't want to think about dragging one a few miles out of the woods.
