    I usually take my .30-30 out for Bear. I have yet to see one, though. One of the places I hunt I will see bear all summer long and find droppings during deer season but noooooo, come time for me to shoot one without first yelling "It's coming right at me! I have to shoot it before it eats me!" they're nowhere to be seen. Which is probably good because I don't want to think about dragging one a few miles out of the woods.

    well its funny i bought this gun for 65$ for friend of my uncle and it needed a safty piece, my grandfather offered to have it fixed for free if i would chase bear with them, the farm they hunt is family on on the front side and most of the crew is not family so they want me to chase on the front side with 2 other ppl that are family while the rest pushes the top and backside so hopefully we will get one of the bear we see nightly on the trailcams. the old 30-06 is staying in the case for deer season.

    It's almost deer season. I'm hoping to have better luck this year.
