    Default Bike attempts a frontflip!

Unfortunately,I let a buddy of mine from the fire department ride my 02 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. A half hour later I got that call you don't want to get.. A car pulled out in front of him and he instinctively grabbed for the brake.. I thought he knew how to ride, but assumption is the key to all £}*,+>=#' ups! Before and after:

I once arrived at the scene of an accident with a motorcycle.
The bike was stuck between 2 vertical bars of a traffic sign... upside down, forward side facing back... 3 feet above the ground level...
It was so bizarre that I thought about taking a pic with my cellphone for one of those 'fail' posters.

The reason I didn't, was that I thought it would be a bit disrespectful towards the biker who was lying motionless on the road in front of the bike.
Tbh he didn't look that well, and I didn't know if he'd make it. I figured that it would be very disrespectful if I'd take a picture of a (soon to be) dead man. And the idea that it could somehow find its way to his next of kin somehow was too bad to consider.

My buddy is doing well. No major injuries, just a bit of roadrash on the back of his leg and a bruised elbow.

I couldn't imagine the thought process that would be going through my head if I saw a random pic of a friend or relative's death scene out there. However, I'd be excited to see my own accident scene displayed proudly.. If I was to pull through it, at least. I hit a deer doing 80mph on my first bike back in 2005.. Blood everywhere but mostly it was the deer's. Quite a neat scene to see though. I was lucky enough to be back riding a friend's bike (which is the one I own now that just crashed) before the hole through my ankle healed.
The police couldn't believe how calm I was that he had destroyed my bike. It was as custom as I could get it without spending thousands more.. Everything on the outside of the bike was aftermarket. Fairings were a wedding present from my wife, too God works in funny ways though. This accident could've saved my life.. Its just money in the end I guess.

As a friend of mine once said, "there are two kinds of people who ride motorcycles, those who have had accidents and those who are going to have them".
