I read that he was estranged from his dad, and refused to see him. I hope they made peace before he finally took off to the great docking station in the sky.
May he rest in peace.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
To spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day

Quite a visionary and way too young to go.
To quote from the film BladerunnerThe light that burns twice as bright burns half as longRegards

Today I ordered two new Mac's.
The dealer told me:
"Now Steve is in his own cloud"
RIP Steve, we miss you!

A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them.

A sad day for the technology industry. Steve Jobs, for whatever criticisms others may level, truly impacted modern society in unbelievable and long lasting ways. From the first personal computer to the MacBook series, he was an innovator; from the iPod to the iPhone he was a visionary; and with Pixar, he was truly an entertainer and a business leader. He will be missed.
Does anyone else see the irony in his passing the day after the first announcement of a "new" Apple product by someone other than Steve Jobs?He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

You can blame me. Long time PC Nazi, I went and bought an Iphone 2 days ago. Shock must have killed the poor man.
Gotta say though, even though I will always harp on Apple (Even though I own one now) quality and the fact that they just plain work is what I have to give them props for.

I'd highly recommend the movie Pirates of Silicon Valley, which is the story of his and Bill Gate's rise to power.
