alright i have seen my share of crazy weather, so nothing should surprise me, but when i see 4 inches of snow in oct. i begin to worry about things, now not that unusual in other areas of this great country of ours, but in west virginia, in the low lands at that, well, i am now waiting to see when the locust are going to come, and mind you i really strongly dislike snow.

I feel ya, Brother. Growing up in Florida, naturally my exposure to snow was nil. I was always convinced I had missed something really cool because I'd never seen snow. I saw my first real snow when I was 18 and most of my career was spent in cold climates (northwest U.S., Alaska and Iceland). After all that I figured out that I had NOT in fact missed anything cool and I'll be completely satisfied if the only snow I ever see the rest of my life is on T.V. October is pretty early for snow, especially in West By God Virginia.

My aunt said that it felt strange selling summer squash at the farmer's market today with snow all around her. Luckily it hasn't hit us westcoasters yet.

Know what happens when you introduce more energy (heat) into a system? The extremes at both ends get more extreme. Familiar patterns become unpredictable.

So yes, global warming causes snow. Ain't facts fun?

I can do without the wet white stuff but I sure do love winter. Cold weather causes me to sleep better and is just refreshing after the hell days of summer here in Florida.

i live in pa have all my life (short life lol ) ive only ever seen it snow in october like 2 times and both were just a quick flurrie, i live on a mountain and we had about 4 inches before halloween, the only thing i like about snow is how easy it makes it to track deer and find where the coon and fox are running so i know where to bed my traps, other than that i wish it would get cold long enough to have a good huntign season and then warm up to 70 adn sunny by xmas

Well isn't this just an "inconvenient truth"?.......................Global Warming= Bull feces! What ever happened to the "Global Cooling" of the 70s era? They said that was caused by.....Wait for it........waaaaaiiiittttit..........Burning of fossil fuels and holes in the ozone. Al Gore is full of Crap! (he did invent the internet though). Al Gore is a leading shareholder in Occidental Petroleum Company...That is fossil fuel. He was also the chief beneficiary of all the "Carbon Credit Buy Backs". So he profitted from all the fear mongering him and his crones did.
