In my absence I managed to get my general licence fro amatuer radio. Just wondering if anyone else has one.

KC9DUQ here. Don't talk much any more. Heck, around here, even the 2m repeaters that were fairly active a few years ago are almost dead now. Other than weather spotting very few hams around here any more.

Thanked: 15Yeah I know what you mean. Our 2m repeater here is pretty dead most of the time. Except on Sunday nights we have a emergency training net. Everynight at 8pm our 440 repeater has a weather net. Our club is pretty ative on HF. And we also have a DX club as well that is very active.

AC5XL here. We have a few local repeaters that I can hit, but I spend most of my time on HF. Now that the cycle is improving, I'll spend lots of time chasing DX and the states I still need for WAS.
