I think you should draw the line here and not put up a picture of JR. Sounds like she doesn't draw many lines for you and has been very, very open to change for you. I personally think having a girl around thats a little jealous is a great sign.

Can I assume perhaps there is a little more involved, like you've actually met her each of those times for an autograph?

This is one of those "will he do what I ask?" issues for a woman. If you put up the pic you might as well kiss your marriage and the pic goodbye. Not in that order ofcourse.

You can do what a woman asks and still maintain your macho.

Does this ring a bell? "Do you promise to love, cherish, and OBEY . . . " ?????

JL, like others have said, I'd let this one go. You can always try again next year, and the year after and the year after that, etc. You get the picture...

JL, I agree with the other folks. You have to pic your battles. I would let this one go. keep the pic in a safe place. who knows in 3 years, maybe less, she will be more willing to let you hang the pic. Sounds like you have a very good woman.

I would say don't hang it up but scan it and use it as your walpaper. I know how you feel about your wife being upset over something that you think is nothing. My wife is the same.

You seem to be on the road a lot: why not hang it in your car? Or would that distract you too much?

...and the next time your wife becomes unhappy with the SRP group because you spend so much time here, take her to this thread so she can see we were on her side on this one.

My wife is also known as "Mission Control". Nothing happens without her say so..

Then again..I have a very peaceful life..and have been happily married for 22yrs..so Josh..don't push it..go with the flow..relax and get on with more important things in life..
