My daughter just got her early acceptance letter from MIT. Pretty excited around here.
Now the scholarship push steps into high gear.

I know its not at all razor related but I have to brag on my kid.

Congrats, man-It's an exciting time, isn't it? My senior was looking hard at MIT, but kind of figured he'd be just another genius there, and we were afraid we wouldn't be able to swing the steep tuition even with lots of scholarships. The good news is that he has been accepted to both Clemson and USC (South Carolina) as a physics major, and looking like a full ride at Carolina.

What a great blessing for you this holiday season! Congratulations-Who wouldn't like to drop casually in conversation, "Well, my son/daughter goes to MIT"?

Actually it is. With what she wants to do with her life MIT and Cal Tech are probably the best two choices.

I got to get her to stop bouncing off the walls first. It might be while before I can catch her.

All roads lead to Mississippi, my son married a girl from Atlanta Ga, they both live in Hattiesburg Mississippi he is studying electrical engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi, and goes for citizenship soon, (that will be weird, my son with a blue passport instead of a red one) his wife is studying Osteopathic Medicine at William Carey University, I hope to get out there next year to see them both and my new granddaughter god willing.
