Thread: Dreams

I have very detailed and visual dreams, all the time, every night. I find it weird that some people do not dream. I think dreams unlock your inner most fears and concerns also your subconscious. I would like to see what your dreams are so we can talk about them. I know, this is very strange for a razor forum but I am an older member here and thought I would start something interesting.

I have writting novels and short stories about my dreams, even poems. Have you?

You want a weird dream? I'll give you a weird dream.

I had a dream I went to church with my wife (I'm not a member, but I sometimes go). For some reason, I had my lawnmower with me and I could not shut it off. I tried to lean the mixture to idle cut-off (yeah, it was an aviation mower, I told you it was weird) and it wouldn't shut down. Added full throttle, no dice. Looked for the spark plug to pull it. For some reason, I couldn't find it.

I sometimes have dreams that make sense. Other dreams are LSD trips. This was one.

I had a nightmare one night in which I had fallen into a deep pit full of Rattlesnakes. As they started to tear into me I awoke to find that my right foot was bleeding. A little later I realized that in my thrashing around in my sleep to avoid the snakes I had cut my foot on the bedpost.

I woke up the other day, got in the shower, shaved and got dressed for work. I was having difficulty seeing the clothes in my closet. Was it the lighting? What should I choose to wear. What was available? Then it hit me. I couldn't make out the clothes because I had dreamed the whole affair. I was still asleep in the bed. I peeked around the closet and there I was, still in the bed . . . Then I woke up, very late for work.

I don't know if anyone remembers the Disney cartoon where Goofy is learning to fly, but I've had a recurring dream from the time I was about 6 until now where I have one of those gliders that is held up by suspenders. All the dream is is that I am running down the street and jumping, trying to take off but only managing to glide for about 50 feet at a time.

I've got a rare and collectible book up on the bay, second time around with a buy it now. Have a few watchers , as I did the last time. The other night I dreamed it sold and the email came from paypal notifying me of payment. I was happy. Then I woke up....... ........

I've been having a lot of dreams lately about being a hitman and murdering people, then trying to figure out where to dump the bodies to avoid the cops.

I have this reoccurring dream that I'm 6 feet tall and I have a gorgeous Columbian girlfriend; then I wake up.
Real life can be so damn cruel.
