Confession Time.
With the New Year fast approaching it's time to receive absolution for your shaving sins and The Monsignor TBS is on duty.
Yes it's time to spill the beans. We want to know if you have a razor that is among your favorites for any reason yet you never use it because you can't get the thing properly honed. Yes admit to the guilt and you will feel better. Maybe your skills aren't up to snuff or you don't have the time or you keep procrastinating. The important thing is admit it to all of us and you will receive automatic absolution. The reason isn't really important. Who knows maybe some generous soul will offer to do the job for you.
Just don't ask for special dispensation cause that's above my pay grade. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

I was kind of hoping for special dispensation, but maybe you'll get a raise.
Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. I have three razors, two of which need to be honed. I have been procrastinating because I have a few stones to lap and only have sand paper and a marble tile.
I also purchased a soft Arkie at a Tru-Value store not knowing it's true worth or value. Fortunately, I only overpaid $5.00.
Amen.

I have a razor that has been honed, but it's just not to my liking, I have tried to like it but to no avail. I feel it may soon find a home in the monthly give-away as a Thank-you for all the generous help I have received here over the last few years
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

A couple of weeks before my father died my mother bought him a top of the range waterproof Braun electric shaver, with inbuilt battery. After he had died she gave it to me. I only use it when I am in a hurry, which rarely happens.

Thanked: 1185A philosophy I've operated from for quite some time. My only confessable sin is that sometimes for no good reason whatsoever I abandon my beloved straights for a Gillette Fatboy or a Gem SE. Boring, I know but other than that I'm a pretty straight shooter except for perhaps the fact that my hone of choice is an $8 Ace Hardware special. I've been meaning to replace it but it does the job so I postpone the upgrade.
