Reading's never bothered me, I like it and do a lot of it all the time. However I din't think I'll have to do a quote from a source that you're supposed to have read carefully:

And seriously, you're saying with a straight face that one should not waste a three month build up to a war? I must say this is some really warped worldview.

I remember well "shock and awe", "the axis of evil", the promises for a quickie and cheap war, the big antiwar demonstrations worldwide, and all that... In the end it's all about part testing of an ideology and part the usual transferring of public finances into private bank accounts. The destruction of human lives and societies was just a collateral damage.
