Calgary motorists still not buying in to distracted driving law | Home | Calgary Sun
(Paragraph 3)
And I thought the straight razor in the shower thing was a bad idea....
Well, actually, I still do. This... I'm really at a loss for words.

Thanked: 1185What!? Taint the zen-like tranquility of my morning shave with traffic, grid-lock and the cast of idiots out on the road!? No way! I do however routinely see feckless wretches shaving with electric razors during their morning commute, of course cell phones and texting are common and one morning I even saw a woman flossing her teeth while driving. Me? Drive time is time to smoke my breakfast. My only distraction is a nice morning pipe or a good cigar (neither of which is much of a distraction.) In fact, were it not for the blessed vitamin N I would have quite probably been ran in for road rage by now.

I often see women applying makeup with both hands whilst staring into the rear view mirror! Madness.

I heard about a man that was reading a newspaper when he hit something. The airbag went off and the hot gasses transferred the newsprint to his face.

lol There was a clone story in the Edmonton Sun a couple days ago about the same subject - minus the straight razor part. Only someone from Calgary would try something that daft...
Our police forces and media must be in sync, who knows. (For those of you who don't know, Calgary and Edmonton, my hometown, are less than 3 hours apart).
Hey Pete, where are you from? If you're reading the Calgary Sun are you from Alberta?

I may Pimp out my Volvo into a Shave Den! Just think hang the strop from the rearview like fuzzy dice, convert the cup holder into a soap dish and brush/razor stand and install a scuttle into the middle arm rest! May even put a stand in the passenger seat to stage SOTD pics!!! hahahahahahaha
